COURTESY PAY

It’s easy to make mistakes on your checking account. A simple miscalculation can lead to a shortage of funds. SPCO can help.

Courtesy Pay

SPCO offers a Courtesy Pay solution, to cover unexpected shortages. Courtesy Pay activates if there are not enough funds available in your existing SPCO savings account to cover shortages. Accounts using Courtesy Pay are charged a standard Courtesy Pay fee for handling the overdraft. Click here to see our Fee Schedule.

This discretionary service is limited to $700 overdraft / negative balance on your SPCO Checking Account (based on approval). This is NOT a loan; however, with Courtesy Pay, we have the discretion to pay the overdraft, bringing your account negative. Any Courtesy Pay negative balance must be repaid within 30 days, to bring your account balance positive. All SPCO accounts must be in good standing, to be eligible for this extra layer of protection.

Overdraft FAQ
An overdraft is when money is withdrawn from your checking account via checks, debit or ATM transactions, electronic funds withdrawals etc. and the available balance drops to zero.
